Windmill Creek Academy, a nature-based preschool in Naples, Florida, partnered with me to redesign their website into a warm, inviting, and informative online presence that reflects their Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy. The goal was to create a site that would not only appeal to prospective parents but also serve as a resource hub for current families.
Project Highlights:
- Custom WordPress Design: A clean, mobile-responsive layout with a soft, earth-toned color palette reflecting the school’s natural aesthetic.
- Homepage Video Integration: Embedded a custom-produced Music & Movement video and a Scrapbook Montage to bring the school’s culture to life.
- Photo Gallery: Organized and optimized real classroom images showcasing students actively engaged in learning.
- Parent Resources Section: Created a centralized location on the homepage for downloadable documents including the Enrollment Form, Parent Handbook, School Calendar, and Supplies List.
- Staff & Program Pages: Built out detailed sections for Program Overview, Exceptional Care, Hallmarks (Annual Events), and Staff Bios.
- Email Setup & Domain Configuration: Configured domain-based email accounts and forwarders using the school’s domain.
- SEO Optimization: Initial setup to improve visibility for key terms like “Naples Preschool” and “Reggio Emilia daycare.”
